WIDE WEB ACCESS
All branches in the system have public access Internet computers with basic
word processing and other software. Patrons using computers, by signature,
must agree to and abide by the Internet Usage Agreement. If under the age of
18, the signature of a parent or guardian must be obtained. Children, 12 and
under, must be accompanied by an adult who has signed the Internet Usage Agreement.
All computers in the TRLs System are filtered through
the Mississippi Library Commission according to the Children's Information
Protection Act. Even though filtered, users must exercise judgment in
evaluating the validity and appropriateness of information obtained via
the Internet and must assume responsibility for its use.
The Tombigbee Regional Library System or any of its branches cannot
be held liable for the content of any Internet site. It is the responsibility
of parents, guardians, legal care givers, and/or authorized teachers
to determine what is appropriate for their own children/students.
The libraries do not provide individual E-mail accounts, but patrons
can send and receive E-mail through the www E-mail accounts.
MAGNOLIA
MAGNOLIA databases are provided by funding and support from the Mississippi
Legislature and the Library Services and Technology Act for publicly
funded K-12 schools, public libraries, community college and university
libraries in Mississippi. Without the continued support of your legislators,
this service would not be possible.
MAGNOLIA provides access to thousands of articles, many in full text.
Databases are provided in health, current events and issues, literature,
biography, business, general reference and other topics.

Learn-A-Test
Available online at all Mississippi Public Libraries, Learn-A-Test features
more than three hundred practice tests based on official school and career
exams including ACT, SAT. GED, Armed Forces Exam and others.
